Schools are not machines, they are complex living systems. If we are to transform them to prepare our students to flourish in the world, we need to do so organically. We work with school communities around the world to bring learning alive, empowering the creative problem solvers that can thrive in the new economy.

Our Process

We have a five-phase process that guides our engagements.

Define Aspiration
We meet with the leadership team to define core values and a courageous aspiration for the learning culture. This aspiration becomes the North Star to guide the organic unfolding of the new culture within your schools.

Focused Intention
We work with school building leaders to identify a group of educators who might be eager to further develop their capacity for creative learning in their classrooms. This group will form into a Creative Pod that will begin to model new innovation mindsets for their learners and colleagues.

Introduce Experiences
Through an online workshop, we introduce the DiG learning framework that draws from best practices used in innovation-based industries. This workshop takes the Pod through a transformative learning journey in which powerful new ways of thinking are collectively experienced.

Develop Practices
We work with instructional coaches to introduce new learning practices into the classroom that cultivate curiosity, courage and connection. Using the DiG framework, the educators are guided toward creating the conditions for deeper learning and ultimately, empowering the learners to become creative problem solvers.

Cultivate Unfolding
The Creative Pod is invited to regularly share stories of the emerging creative culture in their classroom with their colleagues. As other educators become inspired by this work, they are invited to form their own Creative Pods, allowing a network of support to organically unfold within the school that aligns with the North Star of the school community.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has.
